The content of Viper Free Knife – PVD Coated blade video review:
Hello! In this video, we are going to show you Viper Knife made by Tecnocut. It is named Free. It has a PVD coated blade, and it is one of tactical lines from Viper. All Viper knives are made by Tecnocut in Maniago in Italy; a famous city for knife making. There also many other knife making companies are based. This knife, Free, comes in a standard Viper box, with general information about company, about Tecnocut, and Viper brand.
The box contains the knife, and the small instruction sheet. This instruction sheet is written in English and in Italian. It gives general information about maintenance and care. Some guidelines for proper use, it also explains the Maniago quality sign, and all the quality checks made on this knife. It also explains general materials, which are being used, and some general warranty information.
Now about the knife itself. It is a foldable knife, tactical line from Viper, it enables one-hand opening. It is 21.0 cm long, it has drop-point nicely designed blade, with a thumb-hole. It has a really smart-lock; it is improved and patented by Viper. It is a liner-lock, but it has an additional safety. When this safety is put in rear position, it is not possible to open this liner-lock. When you release the safety, it is possible also to release the liner-lock, and close the knife. The knife itself is 21.0 cm long, the blade is 8.5 cm long, it is 3.6 thick, and the whole knife weight a little bit more than 120 grams. The steel used for the blade is tool steel, AISI D2. All other parts on the knife are made of stainless steel. The blade has Physical Vapour Deposition coating; it has a non-reflective black coating, it is really nice. All the details; there was much of an attention putted for details on this knife. The blade has a hardness of 58-60 HRC, which is really hard, and the handle is made of G10 composite material. It has really distinct pattern, a little bit rough surface for better grip; you do not lose it even if it is wet. It has a sling hole, at the end, and it has a nice, belt clip made of stainless steel. It has two nice rivets, a little bit bigger, made of stainless steel. And the whole knife is not too heavy, it is just right for any hand. This was a video of Viper Free PVD coated knife.
