We blast 68 cal. hardened steel bearing balls at AR500 Armor and Kevlar body armor. The balls weigh 0.6 oz. Unlike lead bullets, these bearings do not deform or even break apart.
When the folks from AR500 Armor initially contacted me they were hoping I would shoot the plates with very unconventional rounds such as these balls. There are a ton of videos on Youtube of people shooting these plates so we’ve had fun changing things up and trying some different stuff.
