This is my third weld using 1/16″ filler rod on thin chromoly tubing. I think they are starting to look decent now. I’m not blowing holes in the steel, and the weld itself it’s no longer a blob of filler rod. I’m still welding without a pedal, which makes things slightly trickier, but I should receive one shortly, and I’m hoping it’ll make a big difference.
