Brazing a Steel Pipe Together at Weld Strength with SSF-6 Silver Solder



How to braze steel pipe with https://MuggyWeld.com SSF-6 Silver Solder and an oxyacetylene torch.

First, clean the scale off the mild steel tubing prior to welding or brazing the parts together.

Notice we do not allow the round stock to turn red while running the rod.

Apply the flux when the metal starts to change color, when the flux flows out, start melting the rod onto the parent metal.

This same brazing alloy will work on stainless steel, copper, bronze, chrome-moly, cast iron, silver, brass, cupre nickel, cast steel, german silver, gold, steel and more.
