This sliding barn door is very quiet and smooth and can be build by using locally sourced and purchased material. Make this sliding barn type door for a large opening or a small opening. A sliding barn door will work for any size. This sliding door is perfect for regular sized homes or for tiny houses since there is no swing space needed. Sliding doors are compact. 1) finger jointed 2×4 and 2×6
2) 4″ tool box casters from princessauto.com stock number 8161531

3) 2″ x 1/4″ regular steel flat bar stock
all drilled holes are 3/8″
4) KREG jig (lee valley.com)
5) 6- 3/8″ acorn cap nuts home depot
6) 2- 1 1/2″ x 5/16″ lag bolts
