The TV’s picture looks slightly darker than “LED LCD TV” but the picture quality is still fantastic when you turn off “eco mode” and let it get as bright as possible.
2 HDMI inputs, 1 Composite, 1 USB for photo viewing, 1 Coaxial audio output and one coaxial input.
This is a great TV if you simply want to connect it to a FIOS set top box, but if you have numerous HDMI sources, you’ll want something with more connectors. There is no 15-pin VGA connectir and no TOSLINK/SPDIF out (like my Vizio) so you’ll have to use the digital coaxial instead. Some lower-end Blu Ray Home Theaters only have a SPDIF and don’t offer a digital coax input.
The 1080p 60Hz refresh rate is fine. The human eye doesn’t normally see better than 60Hz (60 Frames per second) and broadcast TV typically uses 720p which is upscaled by set top boxes to 1080i (my FIOS box doesn’t do true 1080p for example).
You want something more advanced? Spend twice or three times as much for a better TV. I need this TV simply for the size, rather than professional visuals.
