CNC Milling of a simple pocket in 303 Stainless. Using a 1/2″ Garr VRX Carbide Endmill. Depth of cut= .610″ Radial DOC=.05″ (theoretical step-over). Programmed in Mastercam X6. Machined using our new Haas VF2SS. RPM is 4500. Feed=75ipm. Spindle is 30hp so the load was minimal (15-20% max). This tool-path isn’t perfect but it’s fun seeing what these new programs/machines/tools can do.
